Orbs of amethyst, resembling pools of purple light, have been scattered along a dainty gold chain in this fabulous necklace.

The necklace is 14 karat yellow gold and features a diamond-cut cable chain that has been interspersed with stations of bezel-set cabochon amethysts.  The twelve genuine amethysts have a total weight of 7.98 carats, and vary in size.  The necklace is adjustable between 16 and 18 inches in length, and is finished with a lobster claw clasp.  A single amethyst orb decorates the end of the chain.
